So encouraging to see the 'scarf effect'
Reconnecting with 'old' friends, sharing stories... A friend of mine running into another friend and they are both wearing their BlueScarves. A granddaughter that donates, then sends the scarf to their gramma.
This disease isn't going away on it's own. Every time I look at my mom it's like I'm seeing less of her and more of it. Try as I might, I'm forgetting who she was. I will not abandon her to this. Alzheimer's may be killing my mother... but she is not dying.
Please. Help.
